We highly recommend having paint protection added to your vehicles to help keep them looking new and damage free. Once you have your new, sleek paint protection, it is important to know how to care for it and keep it looking new. Below are a few tips to help you keep your paint protection looking new.

  • Curing Process – After your vehicle gets its new paint protection installed, it is important to allow it to cure. During this time, you should not wash it, and ideally you shouldn’t even drive it. Curing takes about 48 hours, but you should not touch the film for up to a week. During this time, you may see a bubble or two. Leave them be, as they will go away as the paint protection cures.
  • Washing Your Car – We recommend that you stop using commercial car washes. Instead, only use high-end soaps and a microfiber mitt to wash your car by hand, and dry it with a microfiber towel. If there are tough spots, you can soak that area with soap for a couple of minutes or use 99% isopropyl alcohol. We also recommend cutting down on the frequency of washing your vehicle.

By following these tips above, we think you will really enjoy and be proud of how your vehicle looks for a long time to come. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We are happy to help you, and our over 15 years of experience have given us the knowledge and experience to keep your vehicle looking beautiful and new.
